Hey, Hey
My name is Dr. Kristen Guillory, and I am your sabbatical curator. I have been a solo international traveler since 2018, visiting 25 countries, a solo traveler since 2010, and an overall lover of travel. I LOVE to dance! I also believe in the beauty and necessity of true rest. Being once in Captivity to Activity, I am so grateful to be on the other side and have truly seen that the more still I am, the more God moves.
I am originally from Dallas, I've hosted over 10 domestic and international retreats. I have been a professor and mental health therapist, and I am currently the president of KSGUILLORY Enterprises- a Consulting, training, and coaching firm- I am an author, speaker, speaker coach, and most importantly, an aunt!
Listeeeeen, Greece had always been a dream country to visit, and I was able to do so for the first time in 2019. While walking in Santorini, I passed a conference center, and a seed was planted. I was going to host a conference/ Mastermind experience in Santorini the next year!
Well, the world would change in 2020, and travel wouldn't happen for a while. Because I missed travel and the beach quite a bit, I began to write affirmations and seek the Lord about living by the beach. And yall, in 2021, I relocated to South Florida and lived right by the beach (a 30-second walk). I loved it. And that desire to host an experience in Greece never went away. In 2023, the Lord placed on my heart that I needed to go on a 5 month sabbatical. I was like, "Bet!"I was going to enjoy my sabbatical in my BRAND NEW CONDO ON THE BEACH!
In November of 2023, I went to Morocco, my first land and air international trip since Feb 2020. Upon my return, while standing in the customs line, I had a feeling of "I don't want to be here" and that I wanted to leave again. Y'all, I forgot my love of international land and air travel (I went on 4 cruises in 2023, the reason for emphasizing land and air). I took one day to pray, called my realtor, and told her I was going to pass on moving into my dream condo to travel the world. And I love what she said, "I think that is amazing! The heart always finds a way to bring back what was meant. "
why Greece?
So yall, in January 2024, I began my Sabbatical and would travel to 15 countries - one being Greece. This time, I would only visit Santorini, which was on purpose, and it was just as majestical as ever. While sitting in my room at a lovely boutique resort, I began to think, "This is where I'm going to host an experience and this time called The Sabbatical."
I considered including another country as part of this experience, but I truly want you to have a sabbatical experience. Very few people take off 11 days in a row. My desire is for you to get from the experience what your body, mind, and soul need in beautiful Santorini.
I have some amazing things in store for you. Your home away from home will be a beautiful boutique resort, you'll be able to see the beautiful Santorini views, sunset sails, photoshoots, optional trip to Athens and more!

ABOUT SANTORINI
The island is home to over 500 churches, chapels, and monasteries, many of which are small, whitewashed, and have blue domes. Some are private family chapels that have been passed down through generations.
The sunset in Oia is world-renowned and attracts thousands of visitors daily. It’s considered one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world due to the stunning backdrop of the caldera and the Aegean Sea.
The island’s crescent shape is due to the caldera (volcanic crater) that collapsed during the massive eruption. This gives the island its dramatic cliffs, and the caldera itself is filled with water, making it one of the few submerged calderas in the world.
